Considering the necessity and necessity of using meteorological statistics and statistics in infrastructure, agriculture and ..., Bojnourd Meteorological Station was established in 1979. The start of the meteorological data collection was started on the street of Qiyam in the center of the city and some time on the street 17 September.
Subsequently, in accordance with the definition of the World Meteorological Organization standard for synoptic (synchronous) synchronization and away from natural and artificial obstacles (residential buildings, etc.), in 1985, the Bureau of Meteorology of Bojnourd was standardized in a place outside the city Located at the beginning of the Gorgan road with geographical coordinates of 19 ° 57 East and Latitude 28 ° 37 North and free elevation 1019 m, the transfer and building of this center were constructed.
In the early years, telecommunications of the Bojnourd Meteorological Station was carried out by the SSB, and gradually, with the advancement of technology and the establishment of telex lines, from the 1970s, the station was equipped with a computer and a telex line, and through this communication platform, meteorological information transmitted And then, the use of high-speed lines of the Internet and VPN, VSAT and MPLS, transmits meteorological information more quickly and at wider levels.
The meteorological station of Bojnourd is considered to be an international station based on global meteorological divisions and its information is used in drawing global maps.
After the establishment of the North Khorasan Province and its separation from Khorasan Province in 2005, the North Khorasan Meteorological Administration started operating at the Mejohaza office of Bojnourd city and after the allocation of credit for the construction of the technical building was started. Buildings under construction (before the formation of North Khorasan province) meteorological offices of the cities of Esfarin and Jajarm, as well as the construction of the airport station, were opened and operated in 2006. Automatic stations in the Shirvan and Farouj cities, which were installed before the year 1385 and the data were taken, its office building was opened and operated in 1390.
During these years, seven automated stations were used in different parts of the province (Gifan, Rabat Qaraleh Beheshti, Yeah Saeed, Kose Sarani, Safi Abad, Raz and Jargallan and Sangkhad).
Also, five climatological stations are constructed in the pre-castle, Strait-Turkman, Sisab, Borzelabad, Plain and 25 Dataghabar rain gauge stations and 80 rain gauge stations in different parts of the province.
In 2008, the sodar system (the second most commonly used station in the country that shows wind changes in different layers of the upper column) was launched at Bojnourd Airport's meteorological station.
Also in the same year, pc winsat satellite equipment (the fifth series of devices in the country that receives satellite imagery and maps required for the forecasting section) was launched at the Meteorological Office.
In 2007, a meteorological station, including a VSAT communication system mounted on a pico vehicle, and the ability to install an automatic meteorological station, was exploited.
In 1388, the first road station in the province of Aminollah, and in 2012, two other road stations in Ghaman Bid and Asadli, which are only 56 stations on the road line, simultaneously throughout the country by the Minister of Road and Military and the chairman of the Meteorological Organization of Iran The province was exploited.
Given the fact that the meteorological organization is a specialized and research organization and uses experts and specialist personnel, this department also has a partnership with academic and research centers and is closely related to different universities. Based on this cooperation, the North Khorasan Meteorological Administration has launched a meteorological site at Shirvan and Bojnurd Free universities and has carried out joint research and research projects.
